About the dream!

Hello, everyone! My name is Alisa Pronina. Today I want to share with you the story that brought my dream to life – it’s the story of the birth of the VERDE brand. It all started in 2017 when I returned from the big city of Kyiv to my native Kherson and opened a small café, Verde espresso bar. Back then, I didn’t know it would be the beginning of a great journey for my dream.

In Kherson, facing full-scale invasion, we had already managed to create a network of healthy eating establishments and a workshop for making vegan and raw desserts. We dreamed and worked on creating unique sweets without added sugar, but we never imagined our dreams would come true in the capital.

The main rule is not to give up!

Like all Ukrainians, our lives changed on February 24, 2022. My husband Vyacheslav, my son Orest, who was three months old at the time, and I spent a month in the occupied city of Kherson. But when the opportunity arose, we left and found ourselves in Kyiv, leaving behind our entire business. But we didn’t give up. We decided to restore our café in the heart of Ukraine – Kyiv. And so, step by step, seeking opportunities, we were able to bring our dream to life and open our own production of healthy sweets.

Pleasure for which there is no shame

Now, with immense pride and joy, we present our family project, VERDE. Our range includes eight types of sweets, four of which are without added sugar and four without refined sugar. Each candy is an embodiment of the idea of uniqueness and special taste, which I worked on personally. My dream was to create candies that would satisfy various tastes and needs, providing genuine pleasure from healthy sweets. VERDE is the satisfaction you don’t have to be ashamed of!

Life in the company

1. What ingredients are used in your candies?

To create sweets, we use only 100% natural components - dried fruits, fruits and berries. Each candy is covered with natural Belgian milk chocolate. It has low calories and perfect taste.

2. Do you have vegan or gluten-free candy options?

We do not use gluten-containing products such as wheat flour or animal products for the production of our candies. These goodies will suit everyone, regardless of personal food preferences or health indicators.

3. How long does your candy last?

The shelf life of our sweets is 5 months, as they contain natural ingredients and a minimum of preservatives.

4. Do you provide international shipping for your products?

Unfortunately, international shipping is not yet available. However, we will be happy to send delicious and healthy sweets to any corner of Ukraine by Novaya Poshta. Delivery of orders from UAH 1,000 is free.

5. What vitamins, minerals or other useful substances are contained in your candies?

The ingredients of our candies are sources of many nutrients, such as antioxidants, B vitamins, vitamins A, C, E, minerals (iron, zinc, magnesium, potassium, selenium). These groups of substances are indispensable components of good health and well-being.
